Microsoft enhanced the existing meeting control Turn off copying or forwarding of meeting chat.
The updated control now includes live captions, transcriptions, and intelligent meeting recaps. For that reason, the control has been renamed Turn off copying and forwarding of meeting chat, live captions, and transcripts. The updated control is available for meeting organizers with a Teams Premium license.
Timeline
The rollout should be completed. This update applies to Teams for Windows, Teams for Mac, the web, and Android/iOS.
How does this affect your organization?
Before the rollout, the meeting options page included a control to Turn off copying or forwarding of meeting chat. This control now also applies to live captions, intelligent meeting recaps, and transcripts.
Meeting organizers with a Teams Premium license find the updated control in the meeting options to Turn off copying and forwarding of meeting chat, live captions, and transcripts. Forwarding or sharing messages to Outlook is also disabled by default. The meeting control is disabled in new meetings.

Note, by default, this is an organizer setting, which means the meeting organizer defines the configuration per meeting. An administrator can force this control with sensitivity labels or meeting templates.
If the meeting control is disabled, participants can copy or forward a chat message, live captions, the recap, and transcripts.

If the meeting control is enabled, all the options to forward or copy the message link are unavailable. Teams also prevents copying the elements with CTRL + C. Soon, Teams should also prevent making screenshots.
