Copilot Cost Management now includes SharePoint and OneDrive usage-based billing

With Copilot in SharePoint now generally available, Microsoft added usage-based billing for SharePoint and OneDrive advanced work to the Cost Management policies in the Microsoft 365 admin center, alongside the Teams Phone Agent (now also generally available).

Microsoft also published licensing details about advanced work in Copilot in SharePoint. Autofill metadata is documented as Autofill columns, a feature previously part of Microsoft Syntex.

Note:
The licensing table does not list SharePoint Agents. Organizations that configured SharePoint Agents as a Pay-as-you-go (PAYG) service should be aware this service is not yet included in the cost management policies.
