Microsoft has introduced a new Teams Premium trial offer for eligible organizations. Eligible organizations receive the message MC1471792 in their tenant, indicating that they qualify for the offer. The message includes a redeem link to order the offer. A Billing Administrator must use the link to redeem the offer. The link is valid for 90 days after the message is published to the tenant.

To qualify for the Teams Premium trial offer, organizations must have averaged more than 10 monthly active call queue members between April and June 2026.
The offer includes two parts:
- A 90-day Teams Premium trial subscription, instead of the usual 25 trial licenses for 30 or 60 days. The number of available trial licenses is specified in the offer. Trial licenses remain valid for 90 days, regardless of whether they are assigned to users.
- A 50% discount on a one-year Teams Premium subscription for the same number of licenses included in the trial, if qualified through Queues app usage.
Organizations that achieve average monthly active Queues app usage equivalent to at least 50% of their provided trial licenses or 50% of their monthly active call queue users between April and June 2026, whichever is lesser, during the 90-day trial period may qualify for a 50% discount on a one-year Teams Premium subscription for the same number of licenses included in the trial. Subject to applicable purchasing requirements, the discount offer will be available to qualifying customers beginning March 2027, following the trial period, and will be communicated via email.
Please note, this trial license is not the Teams Premium Legacy license. It’s the new, reduced version introduced in April 2026.
Microsoft primarily wants to promote the new features in the Queues app, which is included in Teams Premium. Users must also have the required Microsoft Teams and Teams Phone licenses to use the Queues app. Nevertheless, users can also try other Teams Premium features, even without a Teams Phone license.
