OneDrive Mobile now supports Markdown file editing

OneDrive Mobile now supports full Markdown (.md) file editing, making it easier to work with this content directly on a phone or tablet.
Previously, users could open and read Markdown files in the OneDrive Mobile app. With this update, users can create new Markdown files, open existing ones, and edit them without downloading the file first or switching apps.

Markdown files now appear in a clean, mobile-friendly read-and-edit view, bringing the mobile experience in line with the existing experience for working with Markdown files on OneDrive Web. This can help anyone who takes notes, drafts documentation, or reviews Markdown-based content away from their desk. The new inline comments are not yet supported on mobile.

The update should already be available in the OneDrive apps for iOS and Android; a small notification informs users about the new Markdown capability.
