SharePoint Agents are now available in the Microsoft Teams App Store. This extension enables users to work directly with SharePoint Agents in Teams, providing intelligent assistance for document discovery, content summarization, and collaboration.
Agents are personalized to each user, highlight recently used experiences, and can be added to chats or channels to streamline daily workflows.

The rollout should be completed at the end of August 2025.
Impact for your users
Users can now find up to 25 of their most recently used SharePoint Agents in the Teams App Store. This improves usability, as users no longer need to know or paste the SharePoint agent URL.
- SharePoint Agents in the Teams App Store are on by default.
- Agent visibility is personalized and cannot be centrally managed or hidden by admins.
- If a user has never accessed a SharePoint Agent, it will not appear for them.
- SharePoint Agents are available in the Teams desktop client and Teams for the web.
To access SharePoint agents, select the Agents category or use the search in the Teams App Store. Both Copilot Studio agents (if users have permissions) and SharePoint Agents are now listed.
Open a SharePoint Agent to review details.
Then you can add the agent to a Teams channel or chat.
