Teams has been enhanced with additional filtering options. After a search Teams shows the filtering for Messages, People, Files, Group Chats, or Teams and Channels. Compared to Teams Classic, Group chats and teams/channels have been added.
With the Teams/Channels filter users can search for a specific Teams or Channel name (they must be a member of the Team or Channel).
Teams finds the profile and includes group chats between me and the other person when searching for a person.
The new search filters are available in the new Teams client (Windows and Mac) and Teams on the web. The filters are not yet available in Teams Classic.
