End of FindTime in Outlook

Since October 2022, FindTime in Outlook has been replaced with Scheduling Poll.
Depending on the release channel in the Outlook client, you either use Scheduling Poll or the old FindTime. Outlook shows the Release Channel under File > Office Account.

Release Channel of Outlook Classic

Scheduling Poll

  • Outlook on the web, new Outlook for Windows, and Outlook for Mac
  • Outlook Classic in the Release Current Channel (Preview), Current Channel, Monthly Enterprise Channel and Semi-Annual Enterprise Preview Channel

FindTime

  • Outlook Classic in the Semi-Annual Enterprise Channel release. Scheduling Poll will be available from January 2024.
  • Outlook Classic in the Release Semi-Annual Extended Channel. Scheduling Poll will be available from June 2024.

The FindTime feature will be deactivated in week 50 (between December 11 and 17, 2023).
In or after week 50 Outlook clients will no longer be able to use the FindTime add-in to create new polls and will have to wait until the update for Scheduling Poll is released. As a temporary workaround, those affected should use Outlook on the web or switch to an alternative release channel.
