Also on 1 May, Microsoft informed that Windows 365 Business with Windows Hybrid Benefit (Product ID CFQ7TTC0HX99) has reached end of life and is no longer supported.
Windows 365: Removed terms for W365 with Windows Hybrid Benefit as that product has reached end of life and is no longer supported.
Windows Hybrid Benefit was a pricing discount on top of the Windows 365 Business price. If a user already had a licensed Windows 10 Pro or Windows 11 Pro device as their primary work device, Microsoft allowed them to pay less for their Cloud PC — up to around 16% less — on the logic that the user already held a valid Windows client license and should not have to pay for it twice. It appears the 20% price decrease, minus the 16% Hybrid Benefit, was a discount too far for Microsoft.
Organizations trying to order a new Windows 365 Business Cloud PC via the product page will find the Hybrid Benefit option is already missing. In the Microsoft 365 admin center, Microsoft has removed the one-year SKUs, and the remaining three-year SKUs are expected to follow shortly.
