Loop is available via Loop on the web, Loop for Windows and Loop Mobile. Microsoft complements the platforms with a Loop app for Teams. As usual with Teams apps, the app must be provided by a Teams administrator. The ID of the app is 4a6520d6-94a8-4730-9184-24997b9b3401.
Users should not expect too much from the Loop app in its current state. The Loop app currently only includes links to Loop on the web.
Each click on an element redirects to the web. In practical terms, the Loop app is a redirect to Loop on the web.
One advantage of the app is the quick search for Loop components. Employees no longer need to know where a Loop component was used. They open the Loop app and search for the component. Searching in the Loop app is faster than opening Loop on the web.
In my opinion, the Loop app for Teams is at an early stage of development. Microsoft will likely continue to develop the app over the next few months.
