Employees can use a feed in OneNote to see what changes have been made to notes across different platforms and apps.
The OneNote feed conveniently combines your notes from different apps – including Samsung Notes, Sticky Notes, and OneNote. Your feed is available in OneNote, Outlook.com, and Outlook on the web.
The feed will be replaced with a new Sticky Notes experience between February and June 2024. It may take even longer, depending on your Microsoft 365 Apps release channel. According to the announcement, the new Sticky Notes experience will replace Classic Sticky Notes in OneNote.
Currently, only the feed in OneNote for Windows (desktop app) is affected. Other platforms (such as OneNote on the web and Outlook on the web) can continue to use the OneNote feed as usual. Both types of Sticky Notes are combined in a transition phase. The compatibility of the two sticky notes remains to be seen.
Update from 26 May 2024:
The rollout should be completed by the end of June.
