Loop Workspaces support multiple owners within a shared Loop workspace. This option has been available for SharePoint administrators since December 2024.
Now, owners of shared workspaces can define new owners in Loop on the web without needing SharePoint administrators.
Timeline
The rollout is set to begin in mid-February and is expected to be completed by late March.
Impact on your users
Once this feature is available, Loop workspaces will support multiple owners. This means that end-users will be able to promote members to owners, enhancing the membership user experience for shared Loop workspaces.

Reminder
SharePoint Administrators can also define new owners in the SharePoint Admin Center’s container section. They can even define a Writers or Readers role, which is not yet available for workspace owners. The Managers role is the default role for new workspace members.
