Retirement of Microsoft 365 Feed

Microsoft has added a new feed in Microsoft 365 Web in March 2023. The Microsoft 365 Feed is briefly described in the documentation:

Microsoft Feed shows users a mix of content and activity from across Microsoft 365. Users might, for example, see updates to documents they’re working on with others, links shared with them in Teams chats, suggested tasks to follow up on, highlights about colleagues, and much more.

Microsoft informs the feed will be removed from 1st November.
The following endpoints are affected:

  • Microsoft 365 Web
  • Microsoft 365 App for Windows

According to Microsoft, the information from the feed in Microsoft 365 Web has been integrated to the “Recommended” section.
I find “Recommended” to be of limited use, compared to the Microsoft 365 feed. It is unclear whether the Work Feed in Edge for Business is also affected.
