More Universal Print jobs for E3 and E5 licenses

Since Universal Print was introduced a license with Universal Print serviceplan includes five print jobs per month. It is the print job that counts, not how many pages someone prints.

The following licenses currently include a Universal Print Service Plan:

  • Microsoft 365 F3, E3, E5, A3, and A5 (developer licenses are excluded)
  • Windows 10 Enterprise E3, E5, A3, and A5
  • Microsoft 365 Business Premium
  • Universal Print (as standalone license)

Since May, a Microsoft 365 E3 and E5 license now includes 100 jobs per month. The tenant combines all jobs into a pool. The jobs can be shared by employees with a universal print service plan.

  • According to the license information 100 jobs per month are only valid for Microsoft 365 E3 and E5 licenses. All other licenses with Universal Print serviceplan (incl. Universal Print standalone license) include only five jobs per month.
  • Unused jobs still cannot be transferred to the next month.
  • Universal Print serviceplan is still not included in developer tenants.
  • If more print jobs are needed organizations can buy packages of 500 or 10,000 jobs per month.
