Internet Explorer 11 wird in SharePoint Online und OneDrive blockiert

Seit 17. August 2021 wird Internet Explorer 11 (IE11) für den Zugriff auf SharePoint Online und OneDrive nicht mehr unterstützt. Der Zugriff ist aktuell weiterhin möglich, jedoch zeigt IE11 einen Hinweis der Browser ist veraltet.

Ab Mitte Januar 2023 entfernt Microsoft die Option mit IE11 fortzufahren. Ein Zugriff auf Inhalte in SharePoint Online und OneDrive wird zukünftig über IE11 nicht mehr möglich sein. Sollte eine Organisation heute noch IE11 einsetzen ist es Zeit für den Umstieg auf moderne Browser.
