Im Juni 2021 wurde Scheduler für Microsoft 365 vorgestellt und soll Organisationen helfen Besprechungen mit bis zu 5 Personen einfacher zu planen.
Scheduler for Microsoft 365 enables Cortana to find a time that works best for everyone, send out invites, reschedule meetings, find focus time, schedule across time zones, and add online meetings. Ask Cortana to schedule your meetings via email from any device, at any time. Cortana will find the best time to meet with all attendees inside or outside your company.
Scheduler:
- Communicates with the meeting organizer and attendees by email in natural language.
- Finds a time to meet when everyone is available.
- Coordinates between external attendees based on the organizer’s availability.
- Keeps the meeting organizer informed on scheduling progress and asks the organizer for guidance when needed.
- Negotiates times to meet across up to two different time zones.
- Sends the invitation to the meeting from the organizer.
- Adds a Teams link to every meeting.
- Reschedules or cancels meetings booked by Cortana.
- Works from any device with access to email.
Scheduler für Microsoft 365 ist ein kostenpflichtiges Add-on zu Lizenzen mit einem Exchange Online Plan.
Am 1. September 2023 ist es mit Scheduler für Microsoft 365 vorbei, die Funktion wird eingestellt und zukünftig in andere Produkte integriert.
Update vom 2. September 2023:
Die Lizenzen für Scheduler wurden am 1. September entfernt. Der Scheduler Service wurde deaktiviert und bestehende Lizenzen können nicht mehr genutzt werden. Für eine Alternative verlinkt Microsoft mittlerweile auf Informationen über Copilot.
